Adult Ministries
The body of Christ grows stronger as each member of the body contributes to the life of the church. Christians are only effective when they consistently participate in the life of the church. We encourage each one to be involved and make the church a vital part of your life.
Sunday Morning Service, 10:30 am, is a time when we come together with each other to worship and give thanks to God. We often have a fellowship coffee time after the service.
Three Small Group Bible Studies are currently meeting. On Wednesday evenings, 7:00 at Heather Snider's home, the Young Adults (age 18 - 35+) meet for lively study and discussion. They are currently doing a video series on the Song of Solomon.
Thursday afternoons at 1:00 pm, there is a Bible study at the church hosted by Gail Bolton. We are just starting a series by Andy Stanley called "Discovering God's Will" - How to make Decisions with Confidence.
High School students meet Monday evenings. You can learn more about that group on the High School page.
Our special GriefShare group is getting started once again. This group is for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one - friend or family. This is a place where you can be around people who understand the pain of your loss. We meet on Tuesday evenings from March 2 - May 25, 2010, at 7:30 pm. For more information, see the page for GriefShare.
Ladies Ministries include two groups called Women of Wonder and Mission Canada Women. We also hold our popular Ladies Christmas Banquet in early December.
Women of Wonder is a group for women of all ages and stages in life. We enjoy a craft or activity, a devotional, and coffee time. Nursery is provided for this time.
Mission Canada Women is interested in raising funds and awareness about missionaries and needs in other countries. The first event will be a Mexican Fiesta, March 2, at 7:00. We will enjoy worship time, games, snacks, and learn about the purpose of this group. For more information, call Sheri Pomery 589 - 9827.
There are some events being planned for the Men. Be watching for more information, and let Pastor John know of your interest.
