Family History
The Lankin family has served at Calvary Gospel Church in Hornepayne, Ontario (near Thunder Bay) for almost 6 years. They have 3 boys, Matthew, Samuel, and Andrew, all born in Hornepayne.
Pastor John and Laura both graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and enjoy serving in ministry together. Pastor John was raised in Windsor, and enjoys computers, reading, fishing, and ATV (off-roading). Laura was raised in Ilderton, near London. Besides being the busy mother of 3 little boys, Laura is also a Registered Nurse and an ordained Pastor with the PAOC. Laura enjoys working with children and being involved in outreach ministries.
Pastor John's ministry focus is best described by Ephesians 4: 11-16, that God has given to the church pastors to train up and equip all the saints to do the work of the ministry. Pastors are called by God to help people recognize their gifts in ministry and find places in and outside the church to move in their giftings.
We look forward to working together to see what God has planned for Deep River.
